Sports Fans Going Wild

Yes it is over but there is joy in cowtown. Our team the little engine that could whom captured the hearts and minds of every single red-blooded Canadian hockey fan over the last two months has finally met the one hill it could not climb. Fatigue Injuries An empty tank of emotional fuel A combination of all three with an outstanding performance by the Tampa Bay Lightning last night proved just a little bit more than our boys could overcome. Jordan Leopold has probably checked himself into a clinic for some severe rounds of counselling absolutely robbed of a goal of glory in game seven by the Bulin. But is there a loser anywhere in sight I think not so lets relive a few of the special moments from this amazing and spellbinding journey they carried us on. Can there be anyone in this town that is happier than the ownership group is there a harder working executive anywhere in this league than the larger-than-life Ken King Where else but in hockey-mad Canada can a surly yet soft guy like Darryl Sutter be so revered. Great job Darryl enjoy your new role as General Manager if you continue to make acquisitions like Simon Nillson and Nieminen then spring time should be bling time anyday soon here in the patch. I wonder if he feels as if he can promote one of the assistants or if there is some amazing catch just over the horizon. Quenneville not signed yet Hmmmmmm......"
